I was born at a young age, (I know, really old joke!) a Hogmany bairn in 1971, one of four girls (my poor Dad!).

I've been doodling and singing (in the bath) since I was at school and writing wee poems and songs since my late teens. I never imagined I would one day publish a book or make a CD but God did.

His plans and purposes for my life covered me when I married and learned how to love unconditionally. His grace included giving me the choice to be open and completely honest about the end of my 9 year marriage, the pain of betrayal, the loss of love and dreams of being a wife and mum. As I've been willing to learn some hard lessons about my life experiences and share these with others, God has healed me bit by bit of hurts and wounds that go back to my childhood. I have now learned to enjoy life and find pleasure in the simplest of things. I'm a work under construction!

What I enjoy

I am at home walking barefoot on the beach and my heart melts in the Scottish Highlands. I enjoy pottering about my garden, designing; whether its pictures or home interiors, photography, watching movies (favourites range from The Untouchables to It's a Wonderful Life, Random Harvest to Carlitos Way), reading, walking, cycling, running (I use that term loosely) spending time with friends and family and I love playing guitar - I'm learning all the time. My addictions now are freshly brewed coffee and Milky Bar Choos but my biggest daily fix is God. He's the centre of my life and the core of who I am and will be. All I have, am and hope to be is because of Him!

Why I believe
