The project is at last complete! The launch of Laura's first album entitled, The Best is yet to be, was held on Friday 25th May 2007, at East Gate Church in Elderslie. The album marks a journey that she has made in her life from a place of brokenness to a place of wholeness. From 'Eagles Wings' where she sings of how God found her in a wasteland and carried her through the darkest nights, to 'I can't believe' where she sings of her amazement at how God turns life so completely around, making the impossible possible. The songs are written direct from the heart and echo the fact that despite the ups and downs that life brings, there is always hope.
The book
The launch of Laura's first book, Eagles Wings, was held on Tuesday 17th October 2006 at Wesley Owen Bookstore in Glasgow and was a great success. Laura shared a little of her life and gave a brief overview of the book, as well as singing two of the songs she has written, which inspired the title of the book and her CD.
